A Quiet Seat

This is a delightfuly quiet corner of a local wood belonging to a friend. It has woodland paths, glades,  tall trees , wildlife in abundance complete with pheasants, grouse, squirrels and rabbits. The wood is part of the extensive gardens surrounding the house and needs constant attention. Trimming, clearing, pollarding, path clearing and replanting keeps the owner busy and out of mischief. This small area where the logs are prepared also doubles as a place to sit and enjoy the quiet and solitude of this small, private, woodland glade.
